Mom And Daughter Resort Room

I am a Florida resident and am planning a trip. I am going to be staying on property, but I am going to be the only Florida resident in the room. Can I still book the room as a Florida resident to get the discount? Thank you!

    Hi there Colleen,

Thanks so much for the question here at the Moms Panel! I am so happy to hear that you're planning a visit to Walt Disney World in the near future and am more than happy to assist!

If you book a room-only reservation in your name, and you are the one checking in, then yes, you'll be able to take advantage of the special Florida resident room rates.  The policy states that your Florida I.D. will be requested at check-in, so it's important that you are present at that time.

Also, please note, Florida resident tickets are reserved exclusively for those who actually reside in Florida with Florida State identification, so your guests will have to purchase regular park tickets as opposed to Florida resident tickets!

Please feel free to write back with any additional questions!
