Welcome to planDisney, Shimshon! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today.
It's so kind of you to treat your grandkids to some Disney magic! One important thing to know up front:
Florida Resident tickets can
only be used by people who actually live in Florida. Each person using a Florida Resident ticket must meet the residency requirement, and one of the steps of purchasing these tickets is providing
proof of residence and acknowledging that everyone using a residency-based ticket does indeed live in Florida. Since your grandkids aren't Florida residents, they would not be eligible to use Florida Resident tickets, even if you, as a Florida resident, buy them.
That said, you've got great options to still make the trip special and budget-friendly. The easiest path is to purchase standard date-based tickets for the kids, no residency verification required. Keep an eye on the
Special Offers page as you plan because Disney releases promos throughout the year that can lower the overall cost of tickets and resort stays. If you're considering an on-property vacation complete with a
Resort Hotel stay, a vacation package can be held with a small deposit, and you can apply eligible discounts later if a better deal appears.
So to sum it all up, you can absolutely help make the trip happen, but because the grandkids aren't Florida residents, they'll need regular non-resident tickets. You can still use any Florida Resident tickets or offers for yourself, just bring your proof of residency with you on the first day of your visit.
Have a magical day, Shimshon!
