Hello there, Coleane!
Welcome to planDisney! You’ll be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth in no time—and just in time to see the final moments of the Walt Disney World Resort
50th Anniversary Celebration! As a fellow Florida Mouseketeer and a current Annual Passholder, I am super excited to deliver you the good news.
You are absolutely able to upgrade your 1-day theme park ticket with Park Hopper option to a bona fide
Disney Pixie Dust Pass. And, yes, you may do this on the same day that you originally intended to use your single-day ticket. However, please take a sneak peak at the Pixie Dust Pass
blockout dates here before your visit. It would be no fun to have the pass ready to go, but you can’t enter the theme park thereafter. (While we’re talking about park admission, please don’t forget to make a
Park Pass Reservation before your visit as well. Very soon, Annual Passholders will not need a park reservation for the theme parks after 2 p.m. except Magic Kingdom Park on the weekends. Follow
Disney Parks Blog for more updates about this exciting, upcoming change.)
On the day of your planned visit, before using the ticket, simply visit
Guest Relations at any of the four theme parks or Disney Springs. The Cast Member will apply the value of the unused ticket towards the Disney Pixie Dust annual pass. Remember to bring proof of Florida residency with you to Guest Relations. You may provide any of the following: Valid Florida driver’s license with a Florida address, valid Florida state-issued ID card with a Florida address, or a valid Florida-based military ID.
I hope that you
revisit me here at planDisney with any further questions about your upcoming Annual Passholder status and benefits, or if you just want to talk Disney! I’m all ears, Coleane!
Magic always,
LeAndra
