Hey there, Jeanne! Welcome to planDisney! It’s always a pleasure to chat with a fellow member of the Passholder family. Thanks for popping in with your question.
Jeanne, as a fellow Florida resident rocking my own
Annual Pass, I totally get it. These decisions can feel like a wild ride on Space Mountain, especially when life’s throwing you curveballs like a possible out-of-state move!
So here’s the scoop: if you go ahead and renew your Pixie Dust Pass now, it’ll be good for a full year starting from your current expiration date. That means you’ll still be able to use it for the whole year ahead, even if your zip code changes to somewhere a little farther from Cinderella Castle. The pass will stay active and valid until its next renewal date rolls around in 2026.
Now, the only thing to keep in mind is that Pixie Dust Passes are
exclusive to Florida residents. So, while you can keep using it for the year you’ve paid for, when it comes time to renew again, you’d need to show
valid Florida residency to keep that same pass type. If you’ve moved out of state by then, you might have to look at one of the other Annual Pass options available to non-residents. But hey, more park days are always a good thing, right?
If it were me, and I knew I’d still want to squeeze in a few magical visits before the big move (or maybe plan a farewell castle stroll), I’d definitely consider renewing now. You never know when the craving for a Mickey pretzel and fireworks will strike!
Wishing you all the best with your upcoming adventure, whether it’s in Florida or beyond. And if you ever need one more pixie-dusted park day before you go, you know where to find me!
Have the best day ever, Jeanne!
