As a Florida resident passholder can I purchase a ticket for an out of state grandchild at a discount price?

    Hi William,

Thank you for stopping by planDisney! I am happy to help with this important trip with your grandkids. Walt Disney World Resort is a place for the young and those young at heart, you visiting with your children’s children is a gift. Walking down Main Street U.S.A. while watching them point at Cinderella Castle in the distance is something that will be a lasting memory for years to come. As a Florida resident Annual Passholder you have access to discounts. These discounts are reserved for residents of the state of Florida, if your grandchildren live out of state they unfortunately will not be eligible for those discounts. There are other discounts available for Annual Passholders you may be able to enjoy. The Special Offers Page has some discounts on stays inside the magic. The discounts on Disney Resorts Collection Hotels are usually pretty good and give you some really good benefits. In 2025 guests get a free visit to a water park on check-in day. This gives you some extra time enjoying a park before your room is ready.

As Annual Passholders you get a bunch of benefits and also access to exclusive merchandise. EPCOT has some really cool designs along with some that are Figment themed. If you are visiting EPCOT this spring you can also find Passholder exclusive International Flower and Garden Festival merchandise and it is featuring Mickey and some fresh designs. That festival is full of great experiences that your grandchildren may have a great time visiting. Butterfly Landing is a Butterly display where you can see a rainbow of different types up close. If you are lucky one will land on your nose, if that isn’t magic I don’t know what is. Keeping with the insect theme, EPCOT has always been known as a learning park. The Honey-Bee-stro hosted by the National Honey Board gives you a chance to taste and learn about the hard work these little pollinators do to keep our planet flowering year after year.

I know this may not be the news you were looking for. I hope your next visit with your grandkids is everything you hope it to be.

    Have a magical day,

    Jeremy A.
