Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Deb. I'm so glad that you've stopped by to chit-chat about a Walt Disney World vacation.
Deb, your kids are at a perfect age to enjoy all of the magic and wonder that a
Walt Disney World vacation has to offer. Being ages 7 and 9, however, they will need a valid
Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket to enter any of the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Being a Florida resident, Deb, you are able to purchase special Florida resident tickets that offer quite a discount compared to a normal standard theme park ticket. If you haven't already, I encourage you to take a look at the
Florida Residents Special Tickets, Passes and Offers section of the website and see if there is an option that will work for you and your family.
After you've purchased your Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets, don't forget that you'll need to make
park pass reservations as well. Park pass reservations act like a virtual placeholder in line at the theme park you'd like to visit each day. Currently, the Walt Disney World Theme Parks are still operating at a limited capacity and this is the way that you will secure your spot each day you'd like to visit.
Deb, have you decided which
Walt Disney World Theme Park you'd like to visit with your kids? Each one has something so unique to offer - there isn't a bad choice! My daughter loves all four for different reasons. She loves Magic Kingdom Park because it is iconic. It's what you think of when you hear Walt Disney World. She loves browsing Main Street U.S.A. and enjoying all of the classic attractions it has to offer. She's also an animal lover so Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park has always piqued her interest for that reason. There are so many interactive experiences in that park with the quest to become a
Wilderness Explorer. Disney's Hollywood Studios is also a great choice for kids that age. There are thrill rides, shows and everything in between. My daughter highly recommends
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway for kids of all ages. It's just pure fun! As an adventurous eater, my daughter has always enjoyed snacking the day away around The World Showcase at Epcot. As you can see there really is something for everyone at each of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.
I hope this helps, Deb. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Happy planning!
Jackie H.
