Hi Dannie,
Visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort with your grandchildren will be moments that are irreplaceable. Watching
Happily Ever After illuminate the skies over
Cinderella Castle will be tear inducing if you are anything like me.
Magic Kingdom Park is home to this nighttime spectacular and you should check the scheduled times for your visit. Finding a nice viewing location is important, and being there around an hour before showtime. Don’t forget to grab a snack for your wait. I love to watch from Main Street U.S.A. near
Casey’s Corner. This is a great location for collecting different snacks for my kiddos. Casey’s has hot dogs,
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor has sundaes which usually satisfies my family’s pre-firework hunger.
As a Florida resident you have discounts available to you for stays as well as tickets. Unfortunately this is not a discount that extends to others, and your grandchildren would not be able to utilize it. There are a number of other discounts you can take advantage of if you plan on staying inside the magic. Florida residents can always check the
Special Offers to see what is available for stays at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. Depending on when you are visiting a night with the mouse might be a great idea. Guests staying in 2025 get a free visit to a water park on check-in day. Now that’s a way to make a splash with the grandkids.
I know this may not be the news you were looking for. But I do hope your next visit with your grandkids is magical and memorable. Visit us again at
planDisney.com anytime.
Have a magical day,
Jeremy A.
