James from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am a Florida resident and linked my tickets to our magic bands and I provide my verification at checkout, since we are using our bands to enter do we have to do anything else?

Hey Howdy Hey James and welcome to planDisney!

The only thing better than visiting Walt Disney World Resort would probably be living within driving distance of it! So convenient to hop in the car and pop over for a quick visit to the Vacation Kingdom of the World and so many great benefits for Florida Residents makes it hard not to, right?

One of the long-awaited and much-needed conveniences that Disney added to their perks for Florida residents was the ability to verify proof of residency online. That saves so much time and energy when you are visiting the parks that you just can show up and walk right in now. As per the instructions online, it is my understanding that after you verify your proof of residency online, you should be all set and do not have to do anything special once you get to the parks. I think it would always be a safe bet to have the official proof of residency with you just in case something does not work like it is supposed to, but no, you should not have to do anything else for your upcoming trip.

I hope you have a great trip coming up in a few days and I hope you get some time to spend over at my favorite festival in EPCOT for EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. So many great ways to welcome in a new growing season with so many spectacular flower displays and of course seasonal food offerings, this festival has really grown on me!

Let us know if you have any further questions!

    Happy planning,

    Nick
