Aaron from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am a Florida resident and would like to know when will I be able to get annual passes so I can reserve some days at the parks.

    Hi Aaron,

Welcome to planDisney! I'm always happy to help a fellow Floridian with questions about annual passes and being a frequent visitor to Walt Disney World.

We've been passholders for more than 20 years and love the flexibility and convenience of having an annual pass. We also adore all the discounts and benefits available to passholders. And we take advantage of the opportunity to spread the cost of our passes over 12 months, an option only available to Florida residents.

So I understand how eager you are to get new annual passes. During the phased reopening of the theme parks, sales of new annual passes have been suspended. Unfortunately, I don't know when those sales will reopen. However, there is a new offer for Florida Residents that can allow you to return to the Magic right away: the Disney Magic Flex Ticket. The tickets are available at a discounted rate for two, three or four days. (Please note that certain block out dates apply and that the tickets have specific expiration dates, depending on how many days you choose.)

With these tickets, you still will access one park per day and must have a reservation through the Disney Park Pass system. If annual passes become available again before you use all of these tickets, you could upgrade them to annual passes.

I hope that helps, Aaron. I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updates on new ticket sales as we navigate through these unusual times. Or feel free to check back with us here at planDisney.
