I am a Florida resident, my grandsons ages 3 and 6 are staying with us for awhile. Can I get them the 3 day Florida Disney pass?

Welcome, Carolyn! It's always a pleasure to have a fellow Sunshine Stater visit us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

What a lucky grandma you are to have the little ones around to spoil for a while! And what better way to have a great time with the grandkids than a visit to Walt Disney World?

The Florida Resident discount program is a great perk of living so close to the magic of Walt Disney World. You'll need to show proof of Florida residency for yourself as the adult buying the tickets, but not for your young grandchildren. You can go ahead and buy your tickets online if you choose. You'll get a confirmation that you can take to Guest Relations at the entrance to any of the parks to pick up your admission cards. In the meantime, once you've ordered your tickets and linked them in your My Disney Experience account, you can start making FastPass+ selections so you and your grandchildren will have some of your favorite attractions all lined up and ready to go.

And if you need some ideas for what to do in the parks with the little ones, you'll find a great resource on the Preschoolers page on the Disney website.

I hope this helps you have a wonderful visit with your precious grandchildren, Carolyn. Please write back if you have any more questions.

    Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
