Hello, Maggie! Welcome to planDisney.
Taking the grandchildren to the
Walt Disney World Resort is certainly going to be a fun and exciting adventure for all of you! And you've chosen some great theme parks to visit. You can't go wrong with
Magic Kingdom Park and
EPCOT has really been stepping up its game lately. In EPCOT, you've got
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind,
Frozen Ever After, and
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure! Plus, the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is running until May 27, 2024...and don't dismiss it as being "just for adults"! There are all of the wonderful
topiaries that everyone will enjoy, Spike's Pollination Exploration Scavenger Hunt (for an additional cost), and there are a bunch of offerings you can buy at the
Outdoor Kitchens that adults and kids will enjoy! Just grab a Festival Passport (usually available at each Outdoor Kitchen) and look to see what offerings speak to each of you. For kids, the Frushi at the Hanami Outdoor Kitchen in Japan is usually a hit and who doesn't love some Toasted Pretzel Bread, which can be found at Baurnmarkt: Farmer's Market in Germany!
Florida Resident theme park ticket offers and discounts are for Guests who live in Florida. All Guests 18 and over will need to provide
proof of residency at the theme parks. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who has shown proof of residency.
Now, I talked a lot about EPCOT, but let's chat about Magic Kingdom Park too! If your grandchildren are thrill-seekers, there are plenty of them at this park. You've got
TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise,
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and
Space Mountain. And then there are the rides that have stood the test of time and everyone can enjoy...attractions like "
it's a small world,"
Peter Pan's Flight, and
Dumbo the Flying Elephant to name a few. And that's just the tip of the Magic Kingdom Park iceberg! You're bound to find so many experiences that you'll remember for a very long time.
Maggie, enjoy the memories you create with your grandchildren at the resort. Be sure to
reach out with any other questions you may have!
Time is the treasure we all get to spend,
Matt
