Hiya Isaiah,
Welcome to planDisney! Visiting Walt Disney World Resort in December is the absolute best! I love the Holidays, and the Most Magical Place on Earth makes them extra special. Between the
Candlelight Processional at
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays and
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, it is truly the most wonderful time of year!
Now, let’s talk Theme Park tickets, Isaiah. To be eligible to purchase and use
Theme Park tickets at the Florida Resident rate, the ticket holder must have at least one valid form of Florida residency. Typically, this is in the form of a valid Florida Driver’s license or Florida state-issued ID card (or military ID) with a Florida address. Some
additional acceptable forms that you can present as proof of Florida residency (i.e., proof of current mortgage, bills, policies, registration, and certain pieces of mail) as long as they include your full name, valid Florida address, and are dated within the past two months. Unfortunately, all Guests over 18 must have proof of residency to qualify. This means Isaiah, your girlfriend’s ticket would need to be purchased as a standard Theme Park ticket without the Florida Resident discount.
This may not be the answer you were hoping for, but I hope this was helpful, Isaiah. If you need anything else, please come back and see us; we would love to help you continue to plan out your December vacation.
Happy Planning!
