    I am a Florida resident. I have a friend coming from NY & I want to treat her to Disney World, Orlando. I am buying her ticket as a gift. Can I buy 2 Florida resident tickets since I am paying? It will only be the 2 of us.

    Hi Michelle! You are a great friend for giving the gift of Disney! As a neighbor of the Most Magical Place on Earth, you are eligible for Florida resident tickets. Adults purchasing Florida resident tickets must be able to provide proof of residency when purchasing the tickets and be prepared to show proof of residency when using the tickets at Disney Parks. So while you are eligible for the savings, your out-of-state friend would not be eligible. I recommend that you consider the Discover Disney Ticket which is exclusive to residents of the Sunshine State! Depending upon how often you like to visit Disney Parks, purchasing this ticket for yourself and a regular admission ticket for your guest may result in savings in the long-run.

    I am sure you will want to relive every memorable moment of your special visit with your friend! You might consider Disney PhotoPass Service which will capture the day of magic that you and your friend are about to enjoy together!  Michelle, I hope you and your friend have the perfect visit to Disney Parks!
