I am a Florida resident; My family is coming into town from Chicago. I want to buy tickets for them using my Florida residency. Is that okay? There's 2 adults and 2 children.

    Greetings, Chevy!

Wow, I need a friend like you! Anytime I get a magical gift like Disney tickets or a Disney Gift Card my Mickey-loving heart is happy.

While the sentiment is incredible and I'd love to tell you to go ahead, unfortunately, the Florida Resident discount is only available for those residing in Florida. Although you'd be purchasing the tickets, each adult would need to show Florida identification at entry. Perhaps as an alternative you could provide them with a Disney Gift Card to assist in purchasing their tickets or a special Character Dining Experience to make the visit more magical?

Whatever you decide, I'm sure you'll have an incredible vacation, Chevy. Please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
