I am a Florida Resident and A DVC member. I have custody of my grandson who will be 8 at the time of our visit, how do I buy an annual pass for children without Identification.

    Hi there, Antonette!

Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney! How exciting you are considering a Walt Disney World Annual Pass for your grandson.  With an Annual Pass and Disney Vacation Club Membership, you have the best of these whole new worlds.

Antonette, I checked with Disney Guest Services and here's what I learned. If you currently have the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, which is the only Annual Pass available for purchase at this time and is exclusively for Florida residents, you can contact Guest Services and ask to speak with the Pass Holder office.  They can help you get an Annual Pass for your grandson. Cast Members understand minors won't have photo ID, so they can work with you to get the pass for your grandson.  If you have a higher level pass, like a Disney Sorcerer Pass or a Disney Pirate Pass, that is only available for renewal at this time, and you want to get a similar pass for your grandson, you can also contact the Passholder Cast Members. They may be able to make an exception for a situation like yours and these considerations are on a case-by-case basis.

If your current Annual Pass is the Disney Sorcerer Pass which is for Florida Residents and Disney Vacation Club Members, you can also contact Disney Vacation Club Member Services who can also try to assist you with obtaining an Annual Pass for your grandson.  And, finally, we just got word today, Antonette, the new sales for many of the Disney Annual Passes, including those for Disney Vacation Club Members, opens again on April 20th, 2023.

So, in addition to contacting either Guest Services or Disney Vacation Club Member Services is able to help you right now, you will also have a whole new world of options for getting him an Annual Pass come April 20th. In all of these cases, Cast Members know children won't have ID, so rest assured, they will work with you to get the pass you need.

I hope this is helpful for your Antonette! If you have any further Disney Vacation Club or Disney vacation planning questions, stop back and see me here, and I'll be so happy to help you.

    Have fun making magical memories!
