Hello there Tallulah!
A warm welcome to planDisney and thank you for bringing us a wonderful
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question.
Oh boy! It sounds like you're on-site at The Most Magical Place on Earth
right now. I hope your visit is off to an incredible start! I'd be happy to chat with you about the accommodations that the Walt Disney World Resort provides to
Guests with disabilities.
Tallulah, one of the things I love most about the Disney Parks is their commitment to ensuring a magical and memorable experience
for all Guests.
Disability Access Service (or "DAS") is one way that the Walt Disney World Resort accommodates Guests who cannot tolerate extended wait times in a traditional queue setting. With this complimentary service, Guests can select return times during which they can access attractions via their Lightning Lane entrances, bypassing the standby queues. To take advantage of this service, Guests must register via live video chat with a Cast Member to determine eligibility. Registration can be completed as early as 30 days before a Guest's scheduled visit, and once registered, DAS can be utilized by the Guest for up to 120 days or for the length of their ticketed admission. Tallulah, there isn't an in-person option for DAS registration, but you're able to
register online via live video chat on the day of your visit. The video chat is available between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. If you don't have access to a device, I suggest heading to a
Guest Relations location for additional assistance.
I hope you've found this information helpful, Tallulah, and I wish you and your pal a most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any more questions during your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth, you're always welcome to stop back by
planDisney again. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
