Welcome to planDisney, Carol. I'm so happy to answer your question today!
It really pays off to live close to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Florida residents often get discounts on select tickets, special events,
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel stays, and more. And at this time, there are even 3 exclusive
Annual Passes available just for Florida residents (subject to availability). Plus, just living closer to the Walt Disney World Resort is a benefit in and of itself!
At this time, for the timeframe you are looking for, Florida residents can access 3-day or 4-day
theme park tickets with savings of up to 30% to 40% when compared to non-discounted, non-Florida resident prices. In my research, I found that a Florida Resident 1-day, 1-park per day ticket is usually the same price as non-residents. It's often the addition of the
Park Hopper Option that is discounted on this particular ticket (and usually quite a good deal I might add!). While you
can purchase 2 of these 1-day, 1-park per day tickets, it would likely not be any cheaper than non-residents. Furthermore, 2-day tickets are currently not available for a Florida resident discount and from what I've seen, if you're interested in going 2 days with the Park Hopper Option, it would actually be slightly cheaper to purchase a standard, non-resident 2-day ticket with the Park Hopper Option than 2, 1-day, 1 park per day Florida Resident tickets with the Park Hopper Option. All that being said, I would recommend doing your own research and following along with the
Disney Parks Blog and the
Florida Residents page of the website for announcements regarding possible special offers leading up to your trip!
Did you know that not only do Florida residents get access to exclusive Annual Passes, but they are also the only Guests who can access
monthly payments as a payment option? This is an incredible benefit as you don't have to pay for your pass in one lump sum. Instead, you can break it up into monthly payments and get to enjoy the theme parks while you're paying for it! And while Annual Passholders are still required to make
Theme Park Reservations to visit the parks at this time, they don't have to do so on
Good-to-Go Days or if they are visiting after 2 p.m., except for
Magic Kingdom Park on weekends (blockout dates apply).
Carol, I hope you have a wonderful springtime visit to the resort. If you can swing it, be sure to visit the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, which is taking place from February 28 to May 27, 2024. If you have any other questions,
please reach out directly to me and I'll get you those answers faster than Dash from
The Incredibles can run circles around you. Okay, maybe not exactly
that fast, but it'll be quick!
Charmed, I'm sure,
Matt
