Hi Kelly! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! As a
Florida resident, I'm sure it is a great feeling to be just a hop, skip, and jump away from the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort. In just a month, you'll be arriving for an unforgettable stay filled with plenty of amazing experiences from across all four theme parks.
With a
4-day Florida Resident Ticket, you will be required to select a date for the tickets to begin. You'll then have seven consecutive days to use your four park tickets. After chatting with a Cast Member and reviewing the terms on the website, it does not seem that
Theme Park Reservations are required for these tickets. They are also considered date-based tickets, which fall into this category as well. With this information, it seems like you can visit any park you wish during the span of time you have to use your park tickets.
If you are staying in a Disney Resort hotel, you can purchase
Lightning Lane Multi-Pass seven days before your arrival. This will give you a leg up on the rest of the Guests, who will need to wait until three days before arriving to book their passes. If you decide to use this service, you will need to select the park and date you plan to make your selections. While Theme Park Reservations will not be required, purchasing Multi-Pass will tie you to a specific park on select dates.
Kelly, I hope you have a magical time during your mid-October visit. The Halloween season will be in full swing, and the Magic Kingdom will be decked out in fall decor.
See ya real soon!
Greg
