I have the Florida Resident 4 Day Discover Pass with the park hopper option. For virtual ques: Do I have to have a reservation for that party to be able to join the virtual Que for BOTH the 7a and 1p times? My goal-to ride both Tron and Guardians same day

Hey Howdy Hey Paul and welcome to planDisney!

I bet you are so excited about your upcoming trip to the Vacation Kingdom of the World in just a few days. It sounds like you are going to have a lot of exciting experiences in EPCOT and Magic Kingdom. Let's talk about the details of the day when it comes to Virtual Queues so you can have the best shot at getting a boarding pass for each of the attractions on the same day.

You have it right so far Paul, both Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT and TRON Lightcycle / Run in Magic Kingdom have Virtual Queues instead of traditional stand-by lines. With your tickets, you will need Theme Park Reservations to get into the parks and will need them as well when joining the Virtual Queue. You will need the reservations only for the first park you visit as the Park Hopper Option will not require a reservation to get into the park you will be hopping to as long as availability permits. To get into the Virtual Queue at 1:00 PM, either attraction requires you to be inside the park of the attraction to join the queue. So if you did TRON in Magic Kingdom in the morning, you would need to be in EPCOT at 1 PM so you can join the Virtual Queue for Guardians of the Galaxy.

If you find yourself in a bind or not wanting to leave one park to get to the other in time to join the Virtual Queue, both attractions also offer the purchase of Individual Lightning Lanes. You will be able to purchase these on the day of your visit and this will ensure that you have the experience of either attraction at a specific time so you won't have to rush to get to the other park before you may be ready to leave. This will also allow you to experience both attractions on the same day!

I hope this helped give you a game plan for the day of your park visit. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out and let us know, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical day,

    Nick
