Hi, Swathi! Welcome to planDisney!
Only five more days 'til Disney! I bet your family is getting really excited. There's nothing better than having that vacation countdown tick down to the final moments!
Your cousin (or in this case, more like your fairy godmother!) can buy tickets for your children who are under 18 using her
Florida resident discount. In my experience, verifying Florida residency online is limited to the Guest who will use that ticket, so I'm not sure there would be a way to do so for the kids. But she can definitely give it a try!
Otherwise, your cousin will only need to be present on the first day of your visit to
provide her Florida resident ID and activate the children's tickets. Once they're activated, the kids can use the tickets for the rest of your trip without your cousin having to be there.
A really easy way to get your tickets squared away is to meet your cousin at the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs the day before you plan to hit the theme parks. It would likely be a lot more convenient for your cousin if she's not going to the parks with you, and it will save you precious park time since you'd be able to skip Guest Relations and head straight to the entrance touchpoints on your first park day. Plus, that way you can spend some time catching up and maybe treat her to a nice lunch at Disney Springs!
I hope your family has an amazing visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, Swathi! Thank you so much for coming to see us, and please stop by anytime you have a question. We're always here to help other Guests plan magical vacations!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
