If a Florida resident buys tickets for family who does not reside in Florida, any relative over 18 has to be a Florida resident?

Hi there, Sandra, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you're here with this great question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! It will be here in just a few short weeks, and you must be getting so excited!

Sandra, there are some great savings available to Florida Residents! In order for a Florida resident to activate their tickets, they need to verify their Florida residency. Happily, this can be done online before arrival, which is such a great timesaver. Check this helpful website for more information about how Florida residency can be verified in person upon arrival. Here are the acceptable forms of ID: a valid Florida driver’s license (must have a Florida address), a valid Florida state-issued ID card (must have a Florida address), or a valid Florida-based military ID. There is also a variety of ways to prove Florida residency that are listed here

Members of the same household must provide proof of the same residential address.  Florida residents under age 18 are not required to show proof of residency if the adult purchasing the admission is a Florida resident with valid proof of residency.

Sandra, if you need any recommendations about which Disney Theme Parks to visit, feel free to reach back out to me here at planDisney - I'm here to help!

    See ya real soon!
