Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Robert!
I think it's really exciting that you're thinking about sharing some magic with your grandchildren soon. As a Florida resident, you have access to some pretty great
deals and special ticket offers that aren't available to residents of other states and countries. The awesome news is that you are able to buy tickets yourself and also any children under the age of 18 who will be coming with you. It's perfectly fine to purchase tickets for them at the Florida rate, but you must be with them when the tickets are used. When you use the tickets for the first time, be prepared to show your valid Florida state driver's license, state-issued ID card, Florida-based military ID, or one of the other documents that can be used to provide
proof of Florida residency. You only need to provide this documentation when you pick up your tickets to use them for the first time, or you can use the new online tool to verify your residency by filling out the "Your Florida Resident Information" when you purchase your tickets. If you're buying your tickets through the
My Disney Experience app, you can still provide proof of residency by using the "Customize Your Tickets" step during your purchase.
There is so much magic at Walt Disney World Resort for families to enjoy together, so make sure to check out this
guide for grandparents who are traveling with their grandkids so you know what to put on your list of things to do. The joy of getting to experience everything through their eyes is going to be something you'll remember forever!
Have a magical day, Robert!
