I am a Florida resident. How do I bring my daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren to Walt Disney world Orlando?

    Hello there,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Multi-generational trips are so magical, and this plan to have everyone visit together is going to be a fantastic one.

Patricia, visiting Walt Disney World with your daughter and her family will be a momentous occasion. You mentioned being a Florida resident which makes you eligible for all of the awesome discounts, including tickets and resort stays. If your daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren do not live in Florida, they would unfortunately not be able to benefit from a ticket discount. If you plan on staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you will want to check the Special Offers Page. This page gives you all the current special offers and their dates they are available. If you think you might like something, you can place a deposit on your stay that is fully refundable at least 30 days before your arrival date. This gives you the peace of mind of having something reserved, and you can always cancel if you aren’t planning on visiting.

When you do visit, I always recommend to purchase Memory Maker for your stay. This will give you the chance to have all of your pictures taken by PhotoPass photographers located throughout the parks. You won’t have to have a selfie of Cinderella Castle and your family. You can have the pros snap your picture and automatically upload it to your My Disney Experience App. You can have them scan your MagicBand+ or smartphone. If you don’t have the app or a MagicBand you can always get a PhotoPass card, and upload them at home on your personal computer.

I hope this information is useful in planning your visit with your family. If you have any other planning questions do not hesitate to visit us again at planDisney.com.

    Have a magical day,

    Jeremy A.
