As a Florida resident can I book 2 rooms one for my husband and I and one for my son and daughter in law who are not Florida residents?

Hey there, Penni, and welcome to planDisney.

I just love a vacation that brings the family together. Similar to you, my family also likes to try and bring everyone together with a combination of savings. My sister is a Florida resident, and we are a military family. So between the two of us, we are always looking for ways to save on a family vacation  and extend those savings to our parents, so they can join us on our fun.

I did chat with a Cast Member in which they mentioned that as  Florida residents may book up to three rooms at the same resort. At check-in, proof of Florida Residency will be required in order for the rate to include the discount. Since you are looking to book more than one room, I recommend calling to make this reservation. Plus, the Cast Member on the other line will be able to answer any other resort specific questions you may have.

I can’t wait to hear about all the magical memories your family will make. I also recommend checking out the current Special Offers as well. Sometimes you can find a practically perfect in every way discount there, that may even be slightly better than the Florida resident offer. Especially if your son and daughter in law are needing theme park tickets too.

Penni, I hope this helps answer your question. If you have any others as you continue to plan, please let us know. We are always here to help!

    Happy Planning,

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
