    I am a Florida Resident and only able to purchase the Pixie Dust Annual Pass right now. Once the other Annual Passes resume selling, will I be able to upgrade our passes to a different tier?

    Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Shannon!

    You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney.  There's nothing that makes me feel more like an official Mousketeer than being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder –– with theme park admission, special offers and events, and even exclusive Passholder merchandise, a whole year of magic is right at your fingertips.  I'm so excited to hear you're ready to come along, and sing this song, and join the Annual Passholder jamboree (that's going to be stuck in my head all day, now) –– I think you're going to love it!

    While sales of most new Walt Disney World Annual Passes are currently paused, the Disney Pixie Dust Pass is still available for Florida Residents to purchase (lucky you!).  However, the Disney Pixie Dust Pass does have the most blockout dates of any Annual Pass tier, so I understand why you might be interested in upgrading to a pass with fewer restrictions once those become available.  And here's the great news –– in the past, Annual Passholders were able to upgrade their existing pass to any eligible pass tier.  If sales of additional Annual Passes resume with the same rules, as a Florida Resident, you should be able to upgrade to any Walt Disney World Annual Pass at that time.  

    Once this happens, I think the easiest way to upgrade your Pass is by visiting any Walt Disney World Guest Relations Location –– in order to upgrade, you'll need to pay the difference in price between your existing pass and the new pass.  If you used the monthly payment option to purchase your Pixie Dust Pass, you should still be able to continue that monthly payment after paying the difference in cost.  And should you have any questions about your new Pass, be sure to ask a Guest Relations Cast Member when you upgrade –– these are some of the most knowledgeable Cast Members at Walt Disney World Resort and they're always my go-to when I have a question during my park visits!
