Hiya, Camille, and welcome to planDisney!
Being able to frequently visit The Most Magical Place on Earth is one of my favorite reasons for living in the Sunshine State. But of course, you have to prove your Florida residency before you can unlock those
awesome discounts for annual passes, Florida resident theme park tickets, and more.
Camille, if you need to prove your Florida residency, you will need one of the following, per the
Proof of Residency FAQ page:
-Valid Florida driver’s license (must have a Florida address)
-Valid Florida state-issued ID card (must have a Florida address)
-Valid Florida-based military ID
If you don’t have any of those main forms of identification lying around, Hakuna Matata (that means no worries)! You could also provide Guest Relations with a passport or another photo ID along with one of the following:
-Proof of a mortgage
-Current homeowner's insurance policy or bill
-Current automobile registration, insurance policy or bill
-Current Utility bill (like a power, phone, cable, or water bill)
-Mail from financial institutions, including checking, savings or investment account statements
-Mail from federal, state, county or city government agencies
Your property tax bill needs to show that it’s mailed from the county’s agency (it most likely does) and be no more than 2 months old. Also, keep in mind that P.O. Boxes are not accepted as proof of residency.
AN EXTRA GEM: If you do happen to acquire one of the first three forms of identification that I listed, you can totally bypass the on-site
Guest Relations queue by verifying your residency online when you purchase your tickets. Be on the lookout for that useful tool upon checkout.
Your next visit is only a few sleeps away, Camille. I hope that you have sweet dreams about walking down Main Street, U.S.A. and watching the fireworks ignite over Cinderella Castle with your loved one. If you have any other questions about your upcoming trip, please
revisit us here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
