Hi, Crystal! It's always fun to meet another Sunshine Stater here at planDisney! I'm a lifelong Floridian, so planning visits to the Walt Disney World Resort is practically in my DNA. Let's get you ready for your own magical adventure!
I double-checked with Guest Relations to verify where you can go to show
proof of residency for your
Florida Resident Tickets. The Cast Member told me that they're not able to do that at your Resort hotel, so you'll need to visit a ticket window or
Guest Relations location at one of the theme parks or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. If you have a little time the day before you plan to visit your first theme park, I'd pop over to Disney Springs and activate your tickets there. The Disney Ticket Center is a nice, indoor facility, and it's really easy to access. You can make a day of it and grab a bite to eat at one of the amazing
Disney Springs restaurants. Plus, it will save you time on your park day so you can get right to the fun!
Crystal, have you thought about which yummy Disney treats you want to try during your trip? Well, your planDisney pals think about Disney food
a lot, so we've put together a
"must-order" list on our Panel Extras page of the meals and snacks we can't get enough of when we're visiting Walt Disney World. Maybe you'll find something new you'd like to try!
I hope this helps you make the most of your Disney days, Crystal. Have fun, and please come back and see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
