Hi Lacy!
It's pretty much impossible for me to be anywhere in the Orlando area and not visit, at least something, on Walt Disney World Resort!
When I read your question, I immediately thought..."monorail"! You could make a dining reservation at one of the resorts that sits on the monorail, and then you could take a ride around on it, either before or after dinner! It's one of my favorite "attractions" at Walt Disney World, and you don't have to have a ticket to ride. The views from the monorail are breathtaking.
My family loves
'Ohana. It is located at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The resort is newly remodeled and is beautiful! You will also get gorgeous views of the Magic Kingdom from the restaurant. (if you book a late dinner, you could even see the
fireworks display!) Another favorite at a monorail resort, is
Chef Mickey's. The food isn't as good here (in my opinion), but the company can't be beat! This restaurant is at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Your kids will love seeing how the monorail "runs through" the actual resort!
I hope these suggestions help. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
