Hey Jaekyung!
Welcome to planDisney. Thank you for sending us your great question about
proving Florida residency at Walt Disney World Resort!
Lucky you, Jaekyung! You must be thrilled to have the opportunity to spend four months in Mickey’s Backyard. As a Florida resident myself, I absolutely love it here — and the proximity to the Most Magical Place on Earth is the icing on the cake!
In order to use
tickets created for Florida residents, you will need to be able to prove Florida residency. Fortunately, there are many ways of proving Florida residency that do not involve a valid Florida identification card or Florida driver’s license.
At present, rental agreements and mortgage contracts are not a part of the list of accepted documentation. However, there are other types of bills, policies, and mail that are accepted! Here are some examples:
— Current Utility bill (power, phone, cable, or water)
— Mail from financial institutions, including checking, savings, or investment account statements
— Mail from federal, state, county, or city government agencies
You can find a
full list of documentation accepted for proving Florida Residency by clicking here, Jaekyung. Please keep in mind that bills can be no more than 2 months old and P.O. Boxes are not accepted as proof of residency.
If you don’t qualify for Florida Resident discounts, there are other discounts you may qualify for! Please
visit the special offers page to learn more.
If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to visit planDisney again. We are all EARS!
