Hiya, Rhonda and welcome to planDisney!
Rhonda, as the Walt Disney World Resort continues to operate in a state of phased reopening with a focus on enhanced health and safety measures, preplanning is a must, so I’m glad you’re hEAR!
To manage park attendance all guests are required to have a
Disney Park Pass reservation in addition to a valid theme park ticket to gain entry. These Disney Park Pass reservations are complimentary and can be made after you have purchased a theme park ticket. Since you are hoping to come in just a couple of weeks, I encourage you to first look at the Disney Park Pass availability calendar by clicking
HERE. At this time the following parks are available (
but please note that this is subject to change until you have made your reservation):
-
EPCOT -
Disney’s Hollywood Studios -
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme ParkNow, Rhonda, the price of tickets is based on the date that you’d like to visit, so the easiest way to view ticket prices is by clicking on
THIS LINK and "select" tickets. If you’re planning to visit one park for one day, you’ll want a 1-day standard theme park ticket. To manage your tickets and then make your Disney Park Pass reservations, you’ll need to create a My Disney Experience account if you don’t already have one. Follow
THIS LINK to get started.
Rhonda, since you mentioned that you’ll be visiting with your grandchildren, you might be wondering which theme park you should visit. Depending upon their ages and interests, I encourage you to browse through the attractions and dining options at each of the available theme parks (EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park).
If you have any
Star Wars fans, you’ll find
Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, if you have any animal lovers, you may wish to visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park where you can
hop aboard a safari! EPCOT is home to the World Showcase where you can walk through 11 countries and enjoy the popular attraction:
Frozen Ever After featuring the famous sisters from Arendelle.
Rhonda, I hope this information is helpful as you’re planning for your day at the Walt Disney World Resort. Each park has its own unique Magic and I hope your day is filled with smiles and awe. If you have any more questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your new friends at planDisney.
As my pal Mickey would say, “see ya real soon.”
Lauren
