Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rosalie!
What a generous and magical treat you are planning on gifting your grandkids! I can’t think of a bigger surprise than tickets to visit the most magical place on earth. My first visit was with my grandmother and she’s the one I credit my Disney obsession with! I’ll never forget that first visit. As soon as we walked into Magic Kingdom, turned through Main Street U.S.A. and I got that first glimpse of the Cinderella Castle, I was instantly captivated, and I’ve never looked back.
Rosalie, have you considered purchasing them the grandkids annual passes? Since you are a Florida Resident you could purchase them the
Florida Resident Annual Pass which might be a better option in more than one way. They could use them throughout the year in multiple visits and they might event turn out to be more cost effective as well.
With Florida resident tickets and Annual Passes, a Florida Resident must be present to activate and anyone 18-years-old and over must show proof of residency to activate. So, if you choose that route, be sure to plan on visiting with them when they activate their passes.
Other than Annual Passes, for a non-consecutive 8-day ticket, if you wish to enjoy the
Florida Resident Discover Disney ticket offer, you would have to purchase two of the 4-day and that might not be the best value for you. So, I really think AP’s would be the best bet!
I hope this information is helpful! If you have any additional questions, please do stop by and bring those our way. It’s our pleasure to assist you as you plan a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.
Have a magical day!
