Well hello, Mike. Welcome to planDisney!
What a wonderful way to spend time with your son and grandson! The
Walt Disney World Resort really is for the young and the young at heart and they are so lucky that you are going to bring them there! There are so many rides, especially at
Magic Kingdom Park, that everyone can enjoy as there is no height restriction. In truth, it's one thing to be able to go somewhere together, but it's a whole different thing to actually spend quality time. And that's what this magical place will allow you to do!
At this time, to qualify for a Florida Resident discount, each Guest 18 years of age or older must provide
proof of residency. Guests under the age of 18 do not need to show proof of residency but
do need to be accompanied by someone who does. Keep in mind that at the current time, there isn't a price difference between a standard 1-day Florida resident ticket and the same type of ticket for a non-resident. However, there
is a discount currently available for a 1-day ticket with the
Park Hopper Option for Florida Residents. Be sure to check out
the Florida Residents page as there are some great deals (as of writing this answer) for Florida residents looking to purchase 3 and 4-day tickets!
Now have you heard the news about
Tiana's Bayou Adventure? It was just announced that it's opening at Magic Kingdom Park on June 28, 2024. I personally cannot wait to experience this attraction.
The Princess and the Frog is a modern classic and I just love that this attraction will continue
Princess Tiana's story. And I have missed that drop and I'm really excited to experience it again! Make sure you check out the
Disney Parks Blog tomorrow, May 14, 2024, as
Disney teased information regarding Annual Passholder previews being revealed on that date. Fingers crossed you're able to snag a spot!
Mike, have a wonderful trip with your son and grandson. If you have any other questions,
feel free to reach out.
Make a wish and hold on tight,
Matt
