Are there floorplans available to view online of the different room categories? I only see ones from third party and strangers nothing from Disney! Difference between Disneyland Hotel 2 bedroom connecting suite and Pixar Place 1 Bedroom sutie. thanks!

Hey hey there, Carrie. Welcome back and thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with this great room layout question. Planning where to rest your head after a full day of Disney magic is almost as important as deciding which Disneyland Resort park snack comes first (churro, am I right?).

Disney does not currently provide official blueprint style floorplans online for its hotel room categories, which is why you are mostly finding third party diagrams. While I cannot share an exact layout from Disney, I am happy to help paint a clear picture of the differences between the room types you are considering.

I recently stayed in a two bedroom connecting suite at the Disneyland Hotel, and let me tell you, it truly felt like living in a Disney dream. This suite offers plenty of space to spread out and comfortably sleep up to ten guests. The heart of the suite is a large living room that includes a single pull down Murphy bed. My nephew thought it was pure Disney magic, especially when he discovered the character surprise hidden behind it. He tucked his Mickey Mouse plushie in safe and sound there! There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the living area, perfect for extra dreamers.

Off the living room are two separate bedrooms, one on each side, giving everyone their own happily ever after space. Bed configurations can vary and may include combinations such as one king bed and two queen beds, two king beds, or four queen beds, along with sleeper sofas or a day bed depending on the layout. One of my favorite features was the 2.5 bathrooms. There is a convenient powder room off the living room, plus a full bathroom dedicated to each bedroom. When you are traveling with a larger group, that is truly a fairy godmother level perk.

The décor at the Disneyland Hotel is classic Disney storytelling at its finest. Think nostalgic charm, photos of Walt Disney, subtle Mickey shaped details, and that timeless feeling that makes you feel like you have stepped into Disney history. Carrie, if you chose the Disneyland Hotel, make sure to check out the special something that happens over the beds in the bedrooms. Guaranteed smiles from every guest!

Over at the Pixar Place Hotel, the vibe shifts to playful and colorful, just like stepping into a Pixar film. The one bedroom suite here sleeps up to six guests and features a living room with a sleeper sofa, a dinette area, and a kitchenette. The bedroom includes two queen beds, making it a great option for families who want comfort without quite as much space. There is one full bathroom connected to the bedroom, plus a half bath off the living room, which is very handy for mornings before rope drop. On our last stay there we even ran into Bing Bong by the large Pixar Ball, which started our morning off with fun!

While I know it would be magical to see exact layouts, a wonderful alternative is checking out the planDisney Pocket Guides. These guides provide detailed descriptions and helpful visuals that walk you through the room categories at both hotels and can really help you decide which option fits your travel party best. There is one for both Disneyland Hotel and Pixar Place Hotel!

No matter which hotel you choose, you will be staying right in the middle of the magic. After all, every great Disney day deserves a cozy place to end the story. If you have more questions, just say the word. I am always happy to help you plan your perfect stay.
