Hi are flip flops allowed in signature dining restaurants. Thanks

    Hi Mark,

This is a great question. The official dress requirements for signature dining restaurants (with the exception of signature dining in the parks where theme park attire is allowed) is as follows:
    • Men: khakis, slacks, jeans, dress shorts, collared shirts (sports coats optional)
    • Ladies: capris, skirts, dresses, jeans, dress shorts
    • NOT permitted: tank tops, swimwear, hats for gentlemen, cut-offs or torn clothing. While t-shirts are now allowed, the policy remains that t-shirts with offensive language or graphics are not acceptable.
It does not mention any restrictions on footwear. I will say that I recently dined at a signature restaurant and had on leather flip flops and was not turned away.

The only place where they are actually restricted is at Victoria and Albert's where the official dress code (which is strictly enforced) is as follows:
    • Men: dinner jackets with dress slacks/pants and shoes. Ties are optional. (Please no jeans, shorts, sandals, flip flops or tennis shoes)
    • Ladies: cocktail dress, dressy pant suit, skirt/blouse, nice dress. (Please no jeans, shorts, capri pants, sandals, flip flops or tennis shoes).
I hope this clarifies it for you.
