Hi there, Joanne! Welcome to planDisney!
A Disney cruise on board the
Disney Wish is the perfect way to brighten up an already great month of August! I also sailed on board the Disney Wish this past August, and it was one of the highlights of my summer! I loved that end-of-summer sailing and spending time beforehand planning for the perfect Disney cruise!
I know that part of that planning is also making those necessary flight arrangements. Disney Cruise Line
can help book those flights, making it even easier to get to your cruise. While I can’t book a flight for you, as my role is to be your Disney cruise planning BFF, I would be happy to guide you on how to do so!
Disney Cruise Line can book your flights in one easy phone call. All you need to do is give them a call and let them know that you’d like to book a flight for your August sailing, and they will go over your options with you.
There are two
Disney Cruise Line Air Programs available. The Flexible Fares option gives guests extended payment and cancellation options, whereas the Restriced Fares option gives guests the best available, non-refundable fare. Both options have the ease and peace of mind of booking with Disney Cruise Line and can be added within 330 days of your cruise. That ease and peace of mind is knowing that, should something happen with your flight, such as cancellations, etc, Disney Cruise Line is keeping an eye on it for you, and is doing everything to try and get you to your cruise.
If you would also like to book
Ground Transportation, you can inquire about this when calling about the flight bookings. Since you’re sailing out of
Port Canaveral, many wonderful hotel stays can work well with both your flight into Orlando and Ground Transportation options, including at
Walt Disney World Resort! Another option is to fly into
Orlando International Airport (MCO) and stay at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport hotel. On the morning you embark on your cruise, Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation will pick you up right from the airport to head over to Port Canaveral and aboard the beautiful Disney Wish. I have gone this route a few times, and it feels like smooth sailing from the moment I leave my Michigan hometown till the moment I step on board my home-away-from-home on Captain Mickey's ship.
Joanne, I hope I was able to guide you to some flight options to get you to your upcoming cruise. I WISH you many wonderful memories ahead! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any other questions.
Seas the Adventure,
Rana
