Our flight is scheduled to leave MCO at 5:00 PM. I know check out time from the resort is 11 AM. Would it be possible for me and my family to enjoy part of a day in the parks and then come back to the resort to pick up our luggage? How does that work?

Hi Sarah! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

My family always schedules a later flight for our departure day, so we can squeeze every last bit of fun out of our magical vacation. By the time we get home, the kids are tired from an exciting day and happy to see their beds. It's a win for us all around!

When you are ready to head to the theme parks on the morning of your departure, take your luggage to Bell Services in the lobby of your Disney Resort hotel. They can hold on to it until you retrieve it before heading to Orlando International Airport. If you are traveling on an airline that offers Resort Airline Check-In and are using Disney's Magical Express, you may be able to check your luggage before your day at the parks, then you can just leave your carry-on items with Bell Services. Either way, you won't have to worry about your luggage while you are enjoying the last moments of your family vacation!

Enjoy your upcoming vacation, Sarah! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have!
