Hi, Flight plans were recently released, and we get more Disney time if we travel to Orlando the day before our current reservation. How does it work if we book a lesser hotel for one night? How do we transfer our stuff while maximizing Disney time?

    Hi Rebecca,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! We on the panel love helping guests to plan magical vacations.

Coming in a night early to get a head start on your Walt Disney World vacation is a great idea! Booking a hotel for one night to get a jump on the magic sounds fabulous. You can sort the Walt Disney World hotels by price range to find one that works for your budget for the night that you arrive.

Transferring your luggage between Walt Disney World resort hotels is simple - Disney will do it for you! I have done this in the past when I have divided my Walt Disney World resort stay between two resort hotels. Simply give you luggage to Bell Services at the resort you are leaving and let them know which resort hotel you are checking into later that day. Disney will transfer the luggage for you, and it will be at the resort hotel you are checking into later that day! You will be free to leave your first resort hotel, enjoy a theme park for the day, and then just head to your second resort hotel that afternoon or evening and your luggage will be there for you.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Rebecca! Have a great time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
