On the Flight of passage ride, what is the minimum & maximum calf size to ride safely?

Hello Alexandra and thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such an important question about your upcoming visit to the magic of Walt Disney World Resort and specifically to the ethereal and visually stunningly land of Pandora - The World of Avatar at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
I can truly say that to date Avatar Flight of Passage is my most favourite ride of all time at Walt Disney World Resort!  I absolutely love the feeling of freedom and exhilaration from riding on the back of a majestic Mountain Banshee or Ikran as the native N'avi people call them and I honestly believe that each traveller to the land of Pandora should try and experience this utterly beyond belief Attraction.
Although I don't have any exact calf safety restraint measurements from the ride vehicle of Avatar Flight of Passage to share I can provide my own somewhat fluffy calf dimensions which are approximately 19 inches at their widest part in the hope that knowing this information will perhaps reassure you about enjoying this amazing Attraction.
In addition it may be helpful to know all Guests must be 44 inches or taller to enjoy the thrill of Avatar flight of Passage and Guests with disabilities are required to transfer to a wheelchair and then onto the Attraction vehicle before riding.
Wishing you an extra magical upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
    Sivako!
