Our flight to MCO arrives at 9:58am. Planning to take the Magical Express to AoA, but check in does not begin until 3:00pm. Approx how long is the process from airport to check in? Will we be able to go to a park or swim before check in actually begins?

    Hi Erin!
I love taking an early flight down to Orlando when it's time for our Walt Disney World vacation!  Being able to spend a full first day feeling the Disney Magic is a must for us!
When you arrive at Orlando International Airport, you will need to head to the Magical Express counter on the B side of the airport.  If you have your vouchers with you, you will be guided to the appropriate bus for your resort.  If you do not have the vouchers, all you need to do is provide the Cast Members with your reservation number and they will be able to print vouchers for you.  All in all, from airport to resort is approximately 45 minutes.
If you arrive at your resort early, you are more than welcome to check-in.  Your room may not be ready until 3:00 pm, but they will be able to provide you with maps, tickets (if necessary) and information on the resort.  You can choose to receive a phone call or a text when your room is ready, and you will be free to head to the parks or even relax at your resort pool.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Malanie, New York

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
