On 01/01 our flight leaves MCO at 2:50pm. Our park hoppers will be used up. What is the best activity for that date and limited time, and what unforgettable dining experiences for 4 adults with a DS9 and DD9 are available to us?

If you are taking Disney's Magical Express back to the airport, you'll need to be at the DME bus stop approximately 3 hours prior to your flight.

By 11:50 a.m., you'll need to be ready to board your bus. Allow time in the morning to use Resort Airline Check in to get your boarding passes and/or check in your luggage.

With your limited amount of time, I would suggest heading to Downtown Disney for some last minute shopping. You could also head to a resort such as the Grand Floridian for breakfast or brunch. Afterwards, consider renting a boat to tour the Seven Seas Lagoon. This would make for a relaxing morning.

Some families like to relax at their resort's pool before heading to the airport.

A fun dining experience can be found at the Wilderness Lodge. Head to Whispering Canyon Cafe for great food and lots of laughs. It's a cheerful place to enjoy when you are feeling the disappointment of having to leave WDW. Before or after breakfast, you could take a look around the lodge and go outside to see the geyser.

At the Polynesian, you could dine with Lilo and Stich.
At the Animal Kingdom Lodge, the Boma breakfast buffet is a delightful experience. The WDW Moms Panel ate here with their families recently. Yum! You could also explore the resort and see the animals from the viewing areas.

Just remember to allow plenty of time. Check out day can be a little overwhelming with all of the "business" that needs to be done in order to get your family from fantasy...back to reality.
