Hi Trisha!
Welcome to planDisney.
I must say I am impressed with your forward thinking and making your room reservation for the day before you arrive, as you are travelling through the night! It will be so nice to have your room ready and waiting for you, enabling you to get some rest so you can wake up refreshed and ready to go on your first full vacation day.
Cast Members at the Front Desk of all the Disney Resort hotels are available to assist all guests 24 hours a day. So when you arrive in the early hours there will be someone there to check you into your hotel room, which will have been prepared and ready for you since 3.00 pm.
You might also like to use
online check-in, on your My Disney Experience Account. Download the app if you haven't done so already, and link your hotel reservation to your account. Before your arrival date, use the online check-in service. You will receive notification when your room is ready, and you will be given your room number. Now you can bypass the Front Desk and go straight to your room to use your mobile device to unlock your door!
If you are making
dining reservations for your trip, your booking window will open 60 days in advance of the date of your room reservation (not the date you arrive). You will be able to make your reservations online or by using your
My Disney Experience app for up to 10 days of your vacation. Also if you are using a
Disney dining plan you will receive meals and snacks for your first night (your arrival night), so in effect you'll have a few extra to use during your stay as you won't be there during the day of your reservation - if that makes sense!
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions, you can also
send me a direct question if you wish. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation at Walt Disney World!
Sue
