Our flight lands at 8:00 a.m. in Orlando and I was wondering what would be a safe time to make lunch reservations. Thanks!

    Hi Rachael!!!

Thank you so much for your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!!!

I usually follow a three hour rule when I fly into Orlando International Airport.  I try not to have anything booked or planned for the three hours following my flight arrival due to possible flight delays, traffic, or any other hiccups that might happen along the way.  I would say that you would be safe making an Advance Dining Reservation for Lunch at a Walt Disney World Restaurant any time after 11:00am.  This should definitely give you enough time to get to your resort and then to the restaurant of your choice.  If you are dining at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel (other than the one you are staying at), I would factor in an additional 30 minutes of travel time from your resort to the resort restaurant.

Please let me know if you have any other questions that I can help answer!!

    Have a magical trip!!
