Kayleigh from Oxfordshire Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Our flight lands into MCO at 4.35pm and I wanted to make a dining reservation for 7.30pm ready to catch the Illuminations at 8.40pm using our fastpass. Will there be enough time to get to Chefs de France (staying at POFQ) after landing?

    Well hello again,
Kayleigh you truly are a girl after my own heart because just like you, I can't wait to jump straight into the magic of my Walt Disney World Resort holiday as soon as I arrive!
However, travel at the very best of times can be so unpredictable what with possible weather delays plus other factors which are totally beyond our control. My personal advice would be to perhaps forego an Advanced Dining Reservation at Chefs de France until another evening (just in-case time is not on your side), but still to make FastPass+ selections for IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.  If you find yourselves hungry, then thankfully Epcot has a plethora of other, more casual Quick Service dining options to choose from which do not require Advanced Dining Reservations.
It is also worth mentioning that when utilising Disney's Resort Transportation it's always best to allow plenty of time when travelling; for a relaxed journey my usual rule of thumb is up to 2 hours between destinations.
I'm sure whatever options you decide upon will make for a very magical start to your much anticipated Disney holiday!
