Our flight gets in at 1:00, do you think we will be able to make a 4:00 dinner reservation? How fast is Magical Express? We are staying at POFQ and our reservation is for T-Rex. I was thinking the ferry to DTD would be the fastest.

Hi, Stephanie! It's going to be tight. Like skinny jeans the day after Thanksgiving. You might be able to make it with some planning.

Online check-in will save you time regardless of having a dining reservation. Here are some other ways to save time and get to your T-Rex reservation.

First, if you can select your plane seats ahead of time, try to get seats near the front of the plane. This will help you be one of the first sets of people off the plane. If you need to use the bathroom, do so on the plane so you don't need to stop once you're on the ground. Also, limit/eliminate any sort of gate check items you may have so you don't need to meander after disembarking from your plane.

Walk directly to the Disney Welcome Center and head to the Magical Express bus staging area. The biggest variable will be here - both in how long you wait and how many other resorts you're buddying up with. Carry all of your carry on items with you onto the bus rather than stowing them underneath the bus (if you have a stroller, you'll need to stow it.)

If you do make stops at other resorts before POFQ and you're tight on time, get off the bus at the first resort and grab a taxi to T-Rex in Downtown Disney. If you still have time, keep on going to POFQ. When you arrive at POFQ, check your time. If you have time to spare, pick up your online check-in packet. If time is not on your side, ask to store your luggage behind the desk.

Then, head to the Downtown Disney boat area. A new boat will come every 10-20 minutes.

May the force be with you!
