Our flight gets in on Sat, Dec 11th at 2:47 to MCO. What is your recommendation for the first evening on Disney property?! Looks like HS has Fantasmic at 6:30 or MK has Spectro at 9 and Wishes at 10. Planning on MVMCP the next night... thanks!

Hi Kyle!  Tough decision!  If your resort is close to Hollywood Studios such as the Yacht, Beach, or Boardwalk then hopping over to this park is easy and you could enjoy Fantasmic that night.  But if you are any distance away then I don't suggest this as by the time you reach your resort and check-in and organize your room it will be rushing to get to the park and be in line for the show to guarantee a seat.

With the Magic Kingdom being open later that evening you could enjoy the evening in the park to see the parade and fireworks.  It would not be a repeat the next night when you go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party as the parade and fireworks for this special events party is different!

I do suggest to families not to try to do too much on the day of their arrival.  It is best to get a good nights sleep and start their vacation fresh.  Traveling is extremely stressful these days so be sure and relax and not get caught up in rushing from one place to the other the minute you hit the magical property.
