If our flight gets into Orlando late at night, are we able to stay the night at the airport and take the Disney Express in the morning?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lisa! It sounds like you have a plan in the works for your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You’ve come to the right place!

Did you know that Disney’s Magical Express will give you a ride to your Disney Resort hotel 24 hours a day, 365 days a year? It’s the hardest working mode of transportation at the Walt Disney World Resort!

While you are more than welcome to spend the night at the airport hotel and get a ride in the morning, you will be able to get to your Disney Resort hotel the night of your arrival using this complimentary transportation.

I suggest using Online Check-In and just entering a later arrival time. Your comfortable room will be ready for you when you arrive so that you and your group can get a good night sleep before your adventures at the theme parks.

When using Disney’s Magical Express, keep your MagicBand with you. It will just take a quick tap of your band to let Cast Member know all of the necessary information for you to be able to board. Keep in mind, it takes about 45-minutes to an hour to get to your Disney Resort hotel using this mode of transportation.

Lisa, once you arrive, there’s a fun new way to get around the Walt Disney World Resort. You can now use the Minnie Van Service. Powered by the Lyft ride-sharing app, it provides the quick, courteous service we have all come to expect because Disney Cast Members are behind the wheel!

I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue to plan the logistics of your trip. If you have any other questions, please come back to see us. Helping you plan your magical stay is our favorite thing to do!
