Hi Linda,
Thank you for visiting planDisney with your questions. Personally, I love early morning flights, it makes me feel like I am squeezing every minute out of my Walt Disney World Resort Vacation!
Prior to your arrival, I recommend completing the
Online Check-in Service on My Disney Experience. To simplify the process and even skip the front desk, you could also choose the Direct-to-Room option during Online Check-in to receive real time updates about the status of your room and notification when it is ready. Guests are able to use their MagicBand or phone to open their Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Room door and skip the front desk entirely.
Once you arrive at your Resort Hotel, Bell Services will gladly store your luggage for you if your room is not yet available. When you are ready to collect your luggage later in the day, simply return to Bell Services or give them a call from your Resort Hotel Room to have it delivered.
In terms of breakfast, while the Disney Dining Plan is currently unavailable, there are still plenty of options. I like to purchase a
Disney Gift Card prior to my arrival to use for Dining, so I am able to keep track of my purchases. You could also use your MagicBand or Key To The World Card for dining purchases, to avoid carrying cash. For me, I find that portions are quite large when enjoying our Quick Serve breakfast so my family and I choose several options and create our own "buffet" and share the different entrees. .
If you enjoy breakfast, I would highly recommend heading to Chef Mickey's for a great Character Dining Experience prior to your day at Magic Kingdom Park. My daughter loves visiting with the whole gang, while dining on some classic breakfast options.
I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort, Linda. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
