Our flight gets in at 12:30. We will take MagExp from airport. With 5:30 ADR at Chef Mickey, will we have time to play a little at MK before and after dinner? We're staying at BCV, so chances are, our room won't be ready when we get there. Other ideas?Thx!

Hi Sarah, With a 12:30 flight, I'd plan on getting to the Beach Club around 2:30-3:00 or so. It can take that long to get off plane, head to the Magical Express check-in counter, wait in line for bus & then ride it to your Resort (stopping at a few other Resorts on the way). There's actually a pretty good chance that your room will be ready by 3:00. If not, you can store your bags & head out.

If you have Park Hoppers, you can walk along Crescent Lake by the Beach Club & head into the International Gateway (the back entrance to Epcot). Enjoy the sights & slowly work your way to the monorail. Chef Mickey's in is the Contemporary Resort, a relaxing monorail ride from Epcot. You'll want to check-in by 5:15. Chef Mickey's does a family photo before seating you & there are several fun gift shops nearby in case you're early. After dinner, you could head to the Magic Kingdom for the evening.

If you don't have Hoppers, and want to visit only the Magic Kingdom: take the shuttle from the Beach Club to the MK. It may be close to 4:00 by then. The buses run approx. every 20 minutes & if you've just missed one, it could be a full 20 minutes until the next one. You'll need to arrive at Chef Mickey's by 5:15, so you'd have about an hour in the Park. Not much time, but you could wander around Main Street for a bit. From the gates, you can walk to the Contemporary in less than 15 minutes (or take monorail).

Another option: Check-in & spend some time walking around the Boardwalk area near your Resort. Maybe even take a dip in Stormalong Bay (arguably the best pool on Disney property).

Please keep in mind that all of the above times are based on many variables. So, you can play it by ear, but hopefully this gives you an overall idea of the time-frames that you are looking at.

By the way, the Beach Club Villas are one of our favorite places to stay. Enjoy every moment of your vacation!
