My flight gets in late after GuestRelations closes for me to pick up my park tickets. I want to take advantage of the extra magic hours at AKthe very next morning. Since the park opens for extra magic hours at 8, will I be able to pick up my tix at 7?

Jambo, Aimee! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm happy to help with your planning question as you prepare for your magical vacation and exciting day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

I see that you are planning to pick up your Walt Disney World theme park tickets at a Guest Relations location. While the theme park ticket windows cease operations at park closing, depending on when your flight arrives, you may be able to stop by the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs which is open until 11:00 PM Sunday through Thursday and 11:30 PM Friday and Saturday.

If retrieving your tickets the first morning of your trip is the best option, then you should have no problem picking them up at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park before opening. Even on a morning with Extra Magic Hours, the will call ticket windows outside of the entrance will be operational before park opening. I recommend arriving early in order to get a place in the front of the line. 7:00 should be sufficiently early to secure a good spot in line, and then be ready for park opening.

I hope your morning plan includes a visit to Pandora - the World of Avatar. Avatar Flight of Passage is one of my favorite attractions in all of Walt Disney World. There is no better way to begin a day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park than with a ride on a banshee! Because this ride is extremely popular, riding at park opening is a great way to experience this attraction without waiting in a long line.

Aimee, one final option that may make your trip more convenient is to link your theme park tickets to a MagicBand. If you are a guest of a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can purchase theme park tickets and link them to your My Disney Experience account. Once linked, you can customize and order complimentary MagicBands to be delivered to your home. Upon arrival at a theme park, the MagicBand will act as your admission ticket - no need for a card!

If you are not eligible for complimentary MagicBands through your resort, you can purchase them and link them to your theme park tickets on your My Disney Experience account. MagicBands can be purchased and used by all guests for park entry and FastPass+.

Aimee, I hope this helps with your Walt Disney World arrival plans. Have a magical vacation and wonderful visit to the exotic lands of Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park!

    See ya real soon!
