Flight gets in at 11:35am..staying at the Pop. Wanted to visit DTD and then possibly make it to 1900 Park Fare for supper with Cinderella. How long is transportation from Pop to DTD and then from DTD to 1900 Park Fare? Is this doable on first day? Thanks!

    HI Karen!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

This is absolutely do-able.  Buses run about every 20 minutes and you can take a bus from Pop Century to Downtown Disney.  The journey is about 10 minutes to 15 minutes depending on whether it stops somewhere else first; sometimes it will stop at Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon first.  Likewise, buses to 1900 Park Fare from Downtown Disney run about every 20 minutes, but the journey to the Grand Floridian is a little longer since the bus will almost certainly make a few stops along the way.  I would budget one hour using Disney transportation to get to the Grand Floridian.

After dinner, you could go to the Magic Kingdom via monorail (don't worry as you won't actually go into the park) and then take a bus back to Pop Century.  If the Magic Kingdom is closed, you could take a bus to Downtown Disney.  The fastest way would be to just take a taxi from the Grand Floridian back to Pop Century.

Enjoy planning your magical Disney vacation, and please write back with more questions!
